The other possibility of funding of research projects includes projects financed from the funds on the basis of international bilateral agreements between countries. Eligible areas of implementation of these projects are usually the border regions of neighboring countries. The staff of centre of the development in close cooperation with the University of West Hungary in Sopron successfully obtained a grant to support project in the cross-border cooperation between Hungarian and Slovak Republic. A two-years project entitled "Web Portal on Environment, forestry and Wood Science ENVIFOR-WEB" addresses the selection and publication the most valuable professional articles and publications in the last 50 years in Slovakia and Hungary from the Wood Processing, Forestry and Environment in two languages.
